These terms govern your use of chefkenzo.com and every order you place with Kenzo Kissan India Private Limited (operating as Chef Kenzo® — "we", "us", "our") — à la carte delivery, meal plan subscriptions, and social or corporate catering. By using the website, placing an order, or confirming a booking, you agree to them. They're written to be read, not skimmed — but if you only read two sections, make them Meal Plans and Food Safety & Allergens.

01Who you're dealing with
Chef Kenzo is owned and operated by Kenzo Kissan India Private Limited, registered office A1/46, Sushant Lok-2, Sector 55, Golf Course Road, Gurugram, Haryana, India, with FSSAI-licensed kitchens in Sector 66 and Sushant Lok 1, Gurugram. "Chef Kenzo" is our registered trade mark (Registration No. 5111614, Class 43). Contact: contact@kenzok.com · +91 90969 07042.
02Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872 to order from us. If you order on behalf of a company (for corporate catering), you confirm you're authorised to bind that company.
03Our services
- À la carte delivery — individual dishes ordered via order.chefkenzo.com, our team on WhatsApp/phone, or listed marketplaces.
- Meal plans — advance-paid subscriptions of daily meals delivered across Gurugram, customised to your preferences (see section 7).
- Catering — social and corporate events from 12 to 1,200 guests, confirmed by written proposal (see section 8).
Menus rotate and depend on ingredient availability; we may substitute a dish of equivalent quality and value when an ingredient doesn't meet our standard. All food is prepared in-house in our own kitchens.
04Orders & confirmation
An enquiry, a form submission, or an unpaid proposal is not a confirmed order. An order or booking is confirmed when (a) we confirm it in writing (WhatsApp or email counts) and (b) any advance payment stated in the confirmation or proposal is received. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an address is outside our delivery area, a payment fails, or availability changes — in which case anything you've paid for the undelivered portion is refunded in full.
05Pricing, taxes & invoicing
- All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR).
- Prices shown as "from" (for example, meal plans from ₹249 per meal, corporate catering from ₹300 per guest) are starting points; your exact price is stated in your order confirmation or proposal.
- GST is charged as applicable law requires and is shown on your invoice. Corporate orders receive GST invoices.
- Delivery charges, if any, are stated before you confirm.
- Country of origin: all food is prepared in, and all services are provided from, India.
- Obvious pricing errors (a dish listed at ₹2 instead of ₹200) don't bind us; we'll tell you before cooking anything.
06Payments
- Meal plans are paid in advance. Catering bookings are confirmed against the advance stated in the proposal, with the balance due as the proposal specifies.
- Payments are processed by RBI-authorised payment gateways, UPI, or bank transfer to Kenzo Kissan India Private Limited. We never store your card or banking credentials.
- Your bank statement will show Kenzo Kissan India Private Limited (or our payment gateway's descriptor) for Chef Kenzo purchases.
- Failed or duplicate transactions are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy — the short version: money that shouldn't have left your account comes back to the same account.
07Meal plan terms
- Minimum commitment: 7 consecutive days, paid in advance. A 3-day trial at the same per-meal price is available before committing.
- Flexibility window: a 7-day plan can be consumed over 12 days; a 14-day plan over 20 days; a 30-day plan over 40 days. Travel days extend your plan inside that window — tell us in advance.
- Changes and skips: any individual meal can be skipped, rescheduled, or its address changed up to 2 hours before its delivery window. Inside 2 hours the kitchen has already cooked it, so it's chargeable.
- Customisation: allergies, dietary preferences (vegan, eggetarian, gluten-free), and dislikes are accommodated when shared before the plan starts. See section 11.
- Pausing and cancelling: plans can be paused within the flexibility window. Cancelling mid-plan converts unused meals to Kenzo credit per the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- No resale: plans are personal to you and your household or workplace; they can't be resold.
08Catering terms
- Proposal first: every event is quoted in a written proposal covering the menu, guest count, service style, staffing, timings, and price. The proposal is the contract for the event; these terms fill any gaps.
- Confirmation: your date is reserved when the advance stated in the proposal is paid. Until then, dates are open to other bookings.
- Final guest count: confirmed no later than 72 hours before the event. That number is the minimum billed; increases after that depend on feasibility and are chargeable.
- Venue access: you (or your venue) provide reasonable access, water, power, and space stated in the proposal for setup and service.
- Leftovers: food safety rules apply — perishable items served at an event can't always be safely packed; our team on site advises what can be responsibly retained.
- Cancellation and date changes: per the slabs in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
09Delivery
Delivery areas, windows, cut-offs, and what happens when a delivery can't be completed are set out in our Delivery & Serviceability Policy, which forms part of these terms.
10Cancellations & refunds
Set out in full in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these terms. It covers à la carte orders, meal plans, catering advances, failed payments, refund timelines, and Kenzo credits.
11Food safety & allergens
- Our kitchens are FSSAI-licensed and everything we serve is prepared in-house.
- Tell us about allergies before you order. We cook around declared allergies with care, but our dishes are prepared in shared kitchens that handle nuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, soy, and shellfish — we cannot guarantee a zero-trace environment for severe allergies.
- Allergen information for any dish is available on request via WhatsApp or phone.
- Consume delivered food within the time advised on the packaging or by our team; refrigerate promptly if not eating immediately.
12Using this website
You agree not to misuse the website — no scraping of personal data, no submitting false enquiries or others' personal details without authority, no attempting to breach its security, and no using it to transmit anything unlawful. We may restrict access to protect the service and other users.
13Intellectual property & trademark
"Chef Kenzo" is a registered trade mark of Kenzo Kissan India Private Limited (Registration No. 5111614, Class 43 — services for providing food and drink, Trade Marks Registry, Government of India). The Chef Kenzo name, logo, "The Kenzo Way of Life", menu descriptions, photography, and website content are our property or used with permission. You may not use them — including in advertising, domain names, social handles, or on packaging — without our prior written consent. To report misuse of our brand, or to request permission, write to contact@kenzok.com.
14Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to that: we're responsible for the food and services we provide, and where something goes wrong our first remedy is to make it right — replacement, credit, or refund as set out in the Refund & Cancellation Policy. We are not liable for losses that don't arise from our breach (for example, event costs unrelated to catering), or for failures caused by incorrect information you provided (wrong address, undeclared allergy, wrong event date). For any confirmed order, our aggregate liability is capped at the amount paid for that order.
15Events beyond our control
Neither of us is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control — severe weather, floods, strikes, riots, epidemics, government orders, utility or network failures. If such an event affects your order, we'll tell you promptly and either reschedule or refund/credit the affected portion.
16Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any rights you have as a consumer to approach a consumer forum of competent jurisdiction, the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms.
17Grievances & escalation
Step 1 — Tell the team: WhatsApp +91 92051 40888 or call +91 90969 07042. Most issues are fixed the same day.
Step 2 — Escalate in writing: contact@kenzok.com. Acknowledged within 48 hours.
Step 3 — Grievance Officer: Kritika Premi, Managing Director — contact@kenzok.com (subject "Grievance"). Resolution within 30 days.
The full escalation matrix is published on our Trust & Compliance page.
18Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services or the law change; the version on this page, with its "last updated" date, is the one in force. Changes apply prospectively — an order is governed by the terms in force when it was confirmed.
